What is Love exactly?

Someone says love is love when you remove the passion, the infatuation, the feeling of being on cloud nine, and you still accept the person for who they are and care deeply and immensely about the person, then that is truly love. In my opinion, that is truly unconditional love.

Can you still love someone who has broken your heart? Can you continue to love someone while they are in love with someone else? Can you love someone who has moved on with their life without you? I only know one person who is able to do the above - to love generously and selflessly without any conditions. It is a love that moves me.
